News:   Walmart to sell iPhone 3G

Wal-Mart may end up selling iPhone in its stores. The problem with this story and why are we saying “select stores” is the iPhone activation process. Remember the rule - you can’t leave the store before activating your beloved handset. That could be the problem and the solution seems obvious - make iPhone 3Gs available in urban areas, only or at least in the areas where AT&T’s 3G network actually works. Otherwise, who needs a 3G-enabled iPhone without the proper coverage.
